“As a lesbian woman born and raised in Brazil, I grew up with very few positive references of women who were like me, who felt like me. I never want another girl to feel so alone and strange, so I try to be and create the references I never had. But visibility and shallow representation are not enough: we need to show not just our struggles as a community, but our happiness, and the hopes for a better tomorrow.”
